TROY -- John F. Moryl, 59, of McChesney Ave., Troy died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, embraced by his loving family. Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late John F. and Ruth Band Moryl and beloved husband of Carol A. Lanthier Moryl of Troy. John was educated in the Cohoes Schools and lived in Cohoes until relocating to Troy 26 years ago. He was owner of Trojan Pallet Company of Latham and was also employed with Carolina Freight. John was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 294. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping in the Adirondacks and archery.

Besides his wife, John is survived by his devoted children, Tracy (Stephen) Rooney of Melrose, Jessica Moryl and John E. (Stephanie) Moryl, both of Watervliet, and Michael J. Moryl of Troy. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Joseph and John Rooney and Mary Moryl; brother of Judy Smi of Schroon Lake, Jacqueline Durrant of Cohoes, Joseph Moryl of Stillwater and Jeff (Nickie) Moryl of Malta. Also survived by two aunts, an uncle, many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ltd., 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes, Friday 9 o'clock. Mass of Christian Burial, Holy Trinity Parish, Cohoes, 9:30. Interment, St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Thursday 4-7 p.m.
