This feature usually appears on this page Mondays through Saturdays. Police Blotter ALBANY THURSDAY, Oct. 7 1:10 a.m. DRUG CHARGE. A man, 37, from the 600 block of Third Street, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after he allegedly was found with a piece of crack cocaine in his mouth.


1:13 a.m. DRUG CHARGE. A man, 42, of Hudson Avenue, was charged with public urination and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on First Street.


4:30 a.m. DRUG CHARGE. A man, 41, from the 100 block of Lark Street, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and arrested on a warrant for two counts of failure to pay a fine after he allegedly was found with a glass tube with residue at Clinton and Lexington avenues.


12:10 p.m. LARCENY. A resident at an area inn reportedly rented a VCR and TV and took the property with him.


4:12 p.m. LARCENY. Someone left without paying for $20 worth of gas at a station on Washington Avenue.


6:40 p.m. PETIT LARCENY. A man, 45, from the 100 block of Second Avenue, allegedly stole food from a supermarket on Madison Avenue. He also wa charged with resisting arrest.


FRIDAY, Oct. 8 12:24 a.m. BURGLARY. A man, 37, allegedly entered a business and stole a scanner. He also was charged with possession of burglary tools and petit larceny.


1:12 a.m. DRUG ARREST. A woman, 36, of Michigan Avenue, Rensselaer, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.


1:30 a.m. ASSAULT. A man, 40, of East Greenbush, allegedly grabbed, shoved and kicked a woman. Officer: William Cook.


2:45 a.m. RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT. A man, 20, of Wynantskill, allegedly discharged a fire extinguisher in a hallway.


3:06 a.m. DRUG CHARGES. A man, 35, from the 200 block of State Street, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell.


5:25 a.m. DISORDERLY CONDUCT. A woman, 23, was also charged with resisting arrest after allegedly pushing an officer and spitting at an officer during arrest.


8:32 a.m. HARASSMENT. A Pennsylvania Avenue woman said her former landlord threatened her.


12:09 p.m. TRESPASSING. A man, 18, of Schenectady, allegedly entered an area high school and remained without permission.


2:30 p.m. EXPOSURE. A man, 46, from the 500 block of Northern Boulevard, was arrested on a warrant. He was also charged with third- degree assault.


2:50 p.m. UNLICENSED OPERATION. A man, 34, and a man, 35, both of the Bronx, allegedly had a quantity of cocaine in the vehicle and were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. The first man also was charged with unlicensed operation and no seat belt.


4 p.m. DRUG CHARGE. A man, 46, of Saratoga Springs, allegedly had a plastic straw containing heroin.


6:14 p.m. DRUG CHARGE. A man, 26, of West Street, was charged with fifth-degree criminal sale of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana.


SATURDAY, Oct. 9 12:20 a.m. COMPLAINT. A man, 25, of Albany, placed a Playboy magazine under a newspaper then returned the newspaper without the magazine and left without paying at a convenience store on Northern Boulevard. The man was located and made restitution. Officer: Paul Kutz.


12:30 a.m. MENACING. A man, 40, from the 100 block of Knox Street, was charged after he allegedly threatened a man with a kitchen knife. BETHLEHEM SATURDAY, Oct. 9 5 p.m. LARCENY. A man reported a bicycle, valued at $350, was stolen from in front of a store in the Delaware Plaza. Officer: Jeffrey Vunck.


SUNDAY, Oct. 10 8:10 a.m. BURGLARY. A manger of a convenience store in Selkirk reported someone broke the front window, entered the store and stole cigarettes. Officer: Robert Helligrass.


CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. Numerous mailboxes were reported damaged in the Parkwyn Drive and Jordan Boulevard area. COHOES TUESDAY, Oct. 5 8:16 p.m. HARASSMENT. A female, 16, of McElwain Avenue, was charged.


8:22 p.m. UNLICENSED OPERATION. A man, 30, of Troy, also was charged with having a suspended registration and going the wrong way on a one-way street. Officer: Timothy Keefe.


WEDNESDAY, Oct. 6 7:35 a.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. Someone reportedly broke a passenger window of a vehicle on Main Street.


9:40 a.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. Someone reportedly entered a car on Mann Avenue and broke the directional switch on the steering wheel.


6:05 p.m. INCIDENT. A Catskill woman reported her brother was involved in an incident on Congress Street and suffered a fractured skull.


7:45 p.m. GRAND LARCENY. A man reported he returned, with a police officer, to a residence on Lancaster Street he left in August because of an order of protection and found several items missing. He also claimed he had not received his mail for two months. His estranged wife still lives at the residence.


11:30 p.m. AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT. A Saratoga Sites woman reported she found harassing statements written on her front door after she saw a neighbor running from the area.


THURSDAY, Oct. 7 10:42 a.m. RECKLESS DRIVING. A male, 17, of Congress Street, also was charged with two counts of failure to stop for a sign. Officer: Paul Johnson.


12:40 p.m. INCIDENT. A school principal reported being approached by a student on Tiger Court claiming a Schenectady gang member said there was going to be an incident similar to the one at Columbine High School in Colorado.


1:35 p.m. TRAFFIC CHARGE. A man, 33, of Troy, was charged with speeding and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Officer: Paul Johnson.


10:05 p.m. THEFT. Someone reported a wallet missing that had been left on a card table at a rummage sale at a senior center. COLONIE


MONDAY, Oct. 11 6:30 a.m. THEFT OF SERVICES. A man, 50, from the 1100 block of Loudon Road, Latham, did not pay for services at a motel on Route 9 in Latham. Officers: Thomas Lemieur, Robert Cazasta.


4:29 p.m. PETIT LARCENY. A man, 31, from the 300 block of State Street, Albany, allegedly stole a pair of boots from a department store. Officers: Kenneth Fuchs, Donald Bushey.


TUESDAY 1:45 p.m. GRAND LARCENY. A man, 51, from the 700 block of New Scotland Avenue, was arrested on a warrant. Officers: Phillip D'Angelo, Oliver.


1:04 p.m. GANG ASSAULT. A man from Schenectady, along with others, allegedly punched a man causing injuries that required surgery. Officers: Marvin Graves, Schubert.


8:11 p.m. PETIT LARCENY. A woman, 18, of Queensbury, was charged after allegedly shoplifting. Officers: John Bushey, Robert Donnelly. GUILDERLAND SATURDAY, Oct. 9 4:06 p.m. PETIT LARCENY. An employee of a gas station on Route 146 reported a motorist pumped gas and left without paying. Officer: Timothy Halloran.


8:20 p.m. PETIT LARCENY. A juvenile female was charged after she allegedly shoplifted at a store in a shopping mall. Officer: Timothy Halloran.


10:24 p.m. COMPLAINT. It was reported subjects were using crack in rooms at a motel on Western Avenue. Officer: Inv. John Tashjian.


SUNDAY, Oct. 10 12:27 a.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. It was reported youths in a car were shooting at street signs on Schoolhouse Road and Western Avenue. Officer: Carl Duda.


1:18 p.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. An 18-year-old man was charged after he allegedly broke a sliding glass door on Brandywine Parkway. Officer: Nicholas Ingle.


2 p.m. LARCENY. A woman from Delmar reported someone stole a checkbook from her car parked on Francis Avenue. Officer: Timothy Adamczak.


3:11 p.m. PETIT LARCENY. A 35-year-old woman was charged after she allegedly stole merchandise from a store in a shopping mall. Officer: Adam Myers.


10:15 p.m. LARCENY. A man from State Farm Road reported credit cards and jewelry missing from his residence. Officer: Daniel Coburn. SCHENECTADY TUESDAY 7:20 a.m. PETIT LARCENY. A man, 40, of Robinson Street, was charged. Officer: Margaret Mazza.


5:45 p.m. UNDERAGE DRINKING. A male, 17, was charged with possession of an alcoholic beverage under the age of 21. Officer: Sean Clifford.


7:20 p.m. POSSESSION. A man, 30, from the 1100 block Hildebrandt Avenue, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Officers: Nicola Messere, Christopher Maher.


7:45 p.m. HARASSMENT. A man, 41, of Amsterdam, was charged with second-degree harassment and resisting arrest. Officers: Nicola Messere, Christopher Maher.


8:40 p.m. HARASSMENT. A man, 34, from the 900 block of Park Avenue, was charged with second-degree harassment. Officers: Edward Krawieki, Jeremy Pace.


11:45 p.m. THEFT OF SERVICE. A woman, 21, of Yates Village, was charged. Officer: Paul Steele.


RESISTING ARREST. A man, 42, from the 1000 block of Albany Street, was also charged with two counts of assault, imitation of a controlled substance, consumption of alcohol in public and criminal mischief. Officer: Robert Frederick.


WEDNESDAY 2:25 a.m. HARASSMENT.A man, 20, from the 1000 block of Albany Street, was charged with second-degree harassment. Officer: Michael R. Glasser, Matthew Haskin.


THURSDAY 11:40 a.m. CRIMINAL TRESPASS. A male, 17, from the 3300 block of Woodlawn Avenue, was charged with two counts of criminal trespassing. Officer: Loretta Marco.


12:38 p.m. PETIT LARCENY. A man, 56, from the 700 block of Vale Place, was charged. Officers: Jeffrey Pardi, Margaret Mazza.


1:04 p.m. DRUG CHARGES. A male, 16, from the 300 block of Germania Avenue, was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers: John Madden, Michael Wager.


6:42 p.m. POSSESSION. A man, 27, of Warnerville, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officer: Michael Hamilton Jr.


11:30 p.m. POSSESSION. A woman, 24, from the 900 block of Francis Avenue, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Officers: Christopher Strange, Anthony Dicarlo Jr.


11:47 p.m. UNLAWFUL DEALINGS. A man, 18, from the 600 block of Craig Street, was charged with two counts of unlawful dealings with a child less than 21 involving alcohol. Officers: James Bradshaw, Sgt. Mark Chaires. STATE POLICE, LOUDONVILLE SUNDAY, Oct. 10 DWI. A man, 27, of Clifton Park, was charged with having a blood alcohol level greater than 0.10 percent and speeding. Officer: Trooper I.C. Bornmann.


ARREST. A male, 17, of Thorton Avenue, Albany, was arrested on a file from Albany police charging seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.


ACCIDENT. A woman, 29, of Schenectady, allegedly struck a vehicle stopped in traffic and was charged with following too closely. Officer: Trooper Len Evertsen.


ARREST. A man, 19, of Delmar, was charged with following too closely after he struck another car stopped in traffic. Officer: Trooper Len Evertsen.


UNLICENSED OPERATION. A man, 25, of Schenectady, also was charged with having switched plates. Officer: Trooper William Drapeau.


MONDAY, Oct. 11 ACCIDENT. A woman, 21, of Hartsdale, was charged with following too closely after she rear-ended another vehicle in traffic. Officer: Trooper Steven Hopsicker.


DRUG CHARGE. A man, 23, of Albany, was stopped on the Northway, Albany, and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Officer: Trooper Steven Hopsicker. WATERVLIET SATURDAY, Oct. 9 3:08 p.m. DOMESTIC. A domestic incident was reported on 25th Street.


3:59 p.m. ASSAULT. A woman said her stepson cut her daughter with a knife on 23rd Street.


SUNDAY, Oct. 10 DWI. A man, 34, was arrested for DWI.


LARCENY. A woman, 30, was charged with shoplifting.


MONDAY, Oct. 11 10:16 a.m. LARCENY. A woman's wallet was stolen from a purse at an area business.


12:12 p.m. LARCENY. A larceny from a vehicle on Second Avenue was reported.


3:20 p.m. HARASSMENT. A woman claimed she was harassed by her ex-boyfriend on Third Avenue.
