Government listings focus on communities in Albany County, and police calls are taken from the actual police blotters from larger communities throughout the area. This feature usually appears on this page Mondays through Saturdays. ALBANY MONDAY 12:07 p.m. CRIMINAL TRESPASS. A man, 21, from the 800 block of Myrtle Avenue, allegedly entered a high school. Officer: Michael Barone. 4:15 p.m. DISORDERLY CONDUCT. A 38-year-old homeless man allegedly refused to leave an area at Chestnut and Lark streets.

4:18 p.m. CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION. A man, 35, from Morton Avenue, allegedly had a glass stem with drug residue inside and identified himself by a name other than his own to police. He was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

4:42 p.m. BURGLARY. A desktop computer, phone and printer were reportedly stolen from a Madison Avenue basement.

4:42 p.m. STOLEN PLATES. Someone reported license plates were stolen from a car at Jefferson and Dove streets.

5:48 p.m. MARIJUANA POSSESSION. A man, 21, from First Street, allegedly had 57 baggies of marijuana when stopped on North Swan Street.

5:52 p.m. DRUG CHARGE. A man, 35, from Broad Street, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having a metal pipe in his pocket.

8:09 p.m. DRUG POSSESSION. A man, 46, from the 1200 block of Western Avenue, allegedly threw a piece of crack cocaine to the ground when police approached and was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

8:58 p.m. ROBBERY. A McAlpin Street woman said a purse which contained coins and identification were taken from her.

9 p.m. GRAND LARCENY. A vehicle was reportedly stolen from where it had been parked on Rayme Street.

9:50 p.m. ASSAULT. A man, 26, from Beverly Avenue, allegedly punched a woman about the head and face and struck her with a saucepan, all while she held a four-month-old child and a one-year-old was present. He was also charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child.

10 p.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. A Lincoln Square woman said she has had ongoing problems with a man and claimed he slashed three tires on her vehicle.

11 p.m. ROBBERY. Subjects robbed a man's wallet at Catherine and South Swan streets.

GRAND LARCENY. A vehicle was reported stolen on Hamilton Street.

OTHER ARRESTS. Police also cited two people for traffic violations, one for failure to pay a fine and one for false personation.

TUESDAY 12:06 a.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. A car window was damaged on Catherine Street.

2:31 a.m. DRUG CHARGES. A man, 53, from the 200 block of Green Street, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell. Officer: John Fitzgerald.

3:40 a.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. A man, 25, from the 1100 block of Barrett Street, Schenectady, allegedly broke six windows and a headlight on a vehicle when he struck it with a baseball bat.

9:10 a.m. BAD CHECK. Someone wrote a check for $39,110 to a business on Broadway, which bounced.

9:52 a.m. DRUG POSSESSION. A woman, 36, from Lawn Avenue, and a woman, from the 1200 block of Broadway, were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Clinton Avenue. The first woman allegedly had a metal tube containing drug residue and the second woman was standing on a milk crate under which was a piece of crack. Officers: Peter Isaacson, Arthur Burnett.

10 a.m. WELFARE FRAUD. A woman, 30, from the 400 block of Central Avenue, allegedly failed to report earned income and obtained public assistance for $872 between November and December of 1996.

3:20 p.m. ASSAULT. A male, 18, from Brady Avenue, allegedly slashed someone with a razor on Marshall Street and was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. A man, 20, from the 200 block of Myrtle Avenue, allegedly threatened two people with a razor, one of whom was holding a child at the time. He was charged with second-degree menacing, acting in a manner injurious to a child and criminal possession of a weapon.

4:20 p.m. HARASSMENT. A man on Washington Avenue said he argued with someone who punched him in the chest and violated a court order.

5:35 p.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. A landlord on Sheridan Avenue said a subject fell through a front door window.

5:45 p.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. Someone smashed the windshield of a car on Wilbur Street.

5:52 p.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. Someone damaged a tool chest at a transit company on Broadway after prying open a lock, and assorted tools were taken.

6:40 p.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. A female, 18, from Nassau, allegedly intentionally damaged a windshield. Officer: Kevin Raducci.

6:53 p.m. DRUG CHARGES. A man, 21, from Aiken Avenue, allegedly identified himself as another and threw a plastic bag to the ground which contained four grams of cocaine. He was charged with fifth- and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and false personation.

7:01 p.m. ASSAULT. A man, 26, from the 200 block of Central Avenue, allegedly struck a victim in the head and grabbed the person around the throat. He was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

10:15 p.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. Someone smashed the window of a car on McCarty Avenue.

WEDNESDAY 12:10 a.m. HARASSMENT. A woman, 23, from the 300 block of Clinton Avenue, allegedly called a woman several times and threatened her.

1:18 a.m. GRAND LARCENY. A cab driver said he had pulled his vehicle over on South Hawk Street, and a subject reached over the back seat and took $60 in assorted bills from him. SUNDAY 4:38 p.m. PETIT LARCENY. Two unknown men allegedly left a Slingerlands supermarket without paying for several packages of cigarettes. Officer: Christopher Hughes.

5:16 p.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. Three youths allegedly damaged a golf cart at a local country club. Officer: Brian Hughes.

PETIT LARCENY. A man, 38, from the 100 block of State Street, Albany, was picked up at Albany Police Department on a warrant from Bethlehem Police. Officer: Brian Hughes. MONDAY 7:32 p.m. TRESPASS. A man, 20, from Marini Court, Albany, was arrested on a bench warrant out of Greene County. Officers: George Thomaides, Allen Secor.

TUESDAY 1:58 a.m. MULTIPLE CHARGES. A man, 27, from Louisville, Ky., was charged with criminal impersonation, forgery of public records and two counts of criminal mischief. He allegedly used a fence post to smash the windshields of two cars in the parking lot of a business. He then provided police with a name other than his own to avoid an outstanding bench warrant from Louisville, Ky., and signed fingerprint cards with the false name. 1 p.m. WARRANT. A man, 41, from the 600 block of Clinton Avenue, Albany, was arrested at the Albany County Courthouse on a warrant charging him with petit larceny and issuing a bad check. He was also found to be a fugitive out of Polk County, Fla. Officers: Olin Garrett, Joe Stapleton.

3 p.m. WARRANT. A woman, 38, from the 500 block of Second Avenue, was arrested by Troy Police on a warrant from Colonie. She was intoxicated when arrested and required medical assistance. Officer: Olin Garrett.

7 p.m. ASSAULT. A man, 41, from North Street, Albany, allegedly struck someone in the face. Officer: Alexander Rinaldi.

9:02 p.m. CONTEMPT. A man, 20, from the 200 block of Lisha Kill Road, Schenectady, was arrested on a warrant. Officers: Christopher Carey, Stephen Franze.

11:26 p.m. HARASSMENT. A man, 46, from the 200 block of Sand Creek Road, Albany, was charged. Officers: Marvin Graves, Dennis Mink. TUESDAY 12:31 a.m. HARASSMENT. A woman, 19, from the 1800 block of Broadway, was charged with second-degree harassment. Officer: Peter Redman.

1:13 a.m. DRUG CHARGE. A man, 31, from the 700 block of Albany Street, was charged with second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Officer: William Marhafer.

5:24 a.m. SEXUAL ABUSE. A man, 20, form the 3000 block of Wellington Avenue, was charged with second-degree sexual abuse, sexual misconduct, fourth-degree possession of stolen property and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Officer: Tim Grippo.

7:25 a.m. GRAND LARCENY. A man, 26, from the 500 block of Mumford Street, was charged with third-degree grand larceny. Officer: Brian Carroll.

10:30 a.m. ASSAULT. A woman, 33, from the 900 block of Genesee Street, was charged with third-degree assault. Officer: Keith Lawyer.

4:02 p.m. COUNTERFEITING. A man, 58, from the 1100 block of Van Velson Avenue, and a man, 32, from New York City, were both charged with trademark counterfeiting. Officer: Donald Barnes.

5:19 p.m. MULTIPLE CHARGES. A man, 21, from the 700 block of Albany Street, was charged with two counts of second-degree harassment, first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Officer: Paul Deluca.

6:51 p.m. TRAFFIC CHARGES. A man, 31, from Morris Street, Albany, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. Officer: John Ericson Jr.

7:02 p.m. MISCONDUCT. A male, 18, from the 700 block of McClellan Street, was charged with sexual misconduct. Officer: David Mantei.

10:18 p.m. DWI. A woman, 35, from the 100 block of Nutwood Avenue, was also charged with having a blood alcohol level greater than 0.10 percent and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. Officer: James Bradshaw.

11:12 p.m. TRAFFIC CHARGES. A man, 33, from Plattsburgh, was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and reckless driving. Officer: James Sanders.

WEDNESDAY 1:12 a.m. CONTEMPT. A man, 26, from the 1100 block of Sumner Avenue, was charged with criminal contempt. Officer: Ed Kraweiki.

4:43 a.m. DRUG CHARGES. A male, 16, from the 1000 block of Congress Street, was charged with third- and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officer: William Marhafer.

6:26 a.m. WEAPON POSSESSION. A man, 29, from Brandywine Avenue, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officer: William Marhafer. SUNDAY ACCIDENT. A 35-year-old Nassau man rear-ended a truck on Interstate 90 westbound near Exit 10, slid across the median and three lanes of traffic and then off the road and into a wooded area. He was taken to a hospital with a fractured spine. Officer: Trooper James Gaunay. SUNDAY 11:25 a.m. COMPLAINT. A female said an ex-friend on Seventh Avenue had items for a garage sale and would not return them. Police contacted the subject, who said items were behind a residence in an alley.

5:07 p.m. FIGHT. Two brothers allegedly fought outside a residence at Joslin Apartments. One person was arrested at the scene.

7:46 p.m. FIREWORKS. Juveniles in the area of 23rd Street and Tenth Avenue reportedly had fireworks but were gone when police arrived.

8:46 p.m. HARASSMENT. A woman on Third Avenue said her daughter's ex-boyfriend harassed them by phone.
